FTSE and QS Investors LLC collaborate on FTSE DBI Emerging Markets Index

A year after the launch of the original index series, FTSE and QS Investors LLC have collaborated once more to create the new FTSE DBI Emerging Markets Index. The index is derived from the FTSE All Emerging Index and comprises large and mid-cap companies within advanced and secondary emerging markets. Using a transparent rules-based formula, the FTSE DBI indices diversify investment exposure by re-weighting countries and industries to avoid concentration risk and momentum effects.
