Market research on benchmark selection
We have conducted a survey among UK Pension Funds on their approach to investment performance measurement and benchmark selection. The findings showed that market indices were the most popular performance benchmark (used by 42% of all funds), followed by a scheme-specific or custom-built benchmark, an absolute return target, or a combination. Notably, only 7% of funds reported that they used peer group comparisons. To receive a full copy of the report please register here.
